What does this measure tell us?

This measure demonstrates the District’s continued effort to increase effectiveness in delivering effective service.  It also demonstrates our ability to partner with other organizations to improve efficiencies by participating in pilot studies and providing feedback to improve performance.

Goal being measured:

Develop and Maintain an Effective Service Delivery System.

Utilization of Mobile IRIS for patient tracking in a Multiple Casualty Incident (MCI) is the first step in adopting this multi-use management system.  This system provides minute-by-minute tracking and reporting to hospitals for patients transported by pre-hospital care providers.  It is probable this program will be extended statewide for patient tracking.  The program is capable of personnel credentialing at MCI’s, WMD incidents, natural disasters; and has the capability of expansion into other areas such as inventory control and asset management.  This system provides increased efficiency in providing an effective service delivery system.
