Percent compliance with reviewing the current Interlocal Agreement used to cost share a Fire Prevention Educator between Snohomish County Fire District No. 3 and Fire District No. 7.

What does this measure tell us?

This measure illustrates the District’s desire to cost share regional programs.  Partnering with other local fire agencies in the delivery of fire prevention education and public safety information is an excellent way to increase our service level in these important areas, while keeping our individual costs affordable.  Successful implementation of this program could lead to developing further this partnership in the form of a Fire Prevention Bureau, which would likely result in additional positive impacts to the District and others in the region.  This measure is tentative, but one that should be explored more fully.
