This measure illustrates the District’s commitment to be a leader in the area of training and to help establish partnerships with local agencies. Such partnerships can lead to a training system capable of fully preparing firefighters and other first responders for the responsibilities of emergency response and mitigation. This measure further identifies that while the District seeks to provide the highest level of training within our own agency, it realizes that in many areas this can best be accomplished through mutual cooperation with other local response agencies. |
