What does this measure tell us?

Annual fire inspections are required as outlined in the contract between the City of Mill Creek and the Fire District.  This measure ensures that the District has a program, trains the crews responsible for conducting the inspections, maintains all applicable records, regularly reviews code changes and communicates with the city’s Building Official to help maintain a safe community.

Goal being measured:

Develop a Fire, Injury Prevention, Education, and Public Affairs Program.

These fire prevention efforts are intended to assist business owners with providing a safe work place for their employees, and a safe building for the customers.  By providing this service, the potential for fire and life safety incidents can be reduced, which can further result in providing a safer working environment for the members of the Fire District.
