Percent compliance with establishing and coordinating a Child Car Seat Inspection Program; while providing inspections as scheduled or through community events. 100        
Percent compliance with establishing and coordinating a Residential Smoke Detector Installation & Inspection Program for those citizens identified as not having functional smoke detection devices; maintain an adequate inventory of smoke detectors. 100        
Percent compliance with establishing and coordinating a low-cost Bicycle Helmet Distribution Program; while providing fitting as scheduled or through community events.  Maintain an adequate inventory of bike helmets. 100        
Percent compliance with providing station and apparatus tours upon public request and as scheduled by the District. 100        
Percent compliance with providing blood pressure screening upon public request at each staffed fire station. 100        
Percent compliance with establishing and maintaining an official District website to effectively communicate the mission, goals, programs and activities of the organization; the website shall be partitioned to allow for secured (internal users) and non-secured (public access) browsing. 100

What does this measure tell us?

         

This measure demonstrates the District’s commitment toward contributing towards the safety of our citizens by providing services and resources such as child car inspections, residential smoke detectors, low-cost bicycle helmets, and free blood pressure screenings.
