The Medic 71 Memorial Fund was started in 1982 shortly after Snohomish County Fire District 7 started providing paramedic services. The memorial fund was established to collect donations from citizens who wished to contribute to the emergency medical services division of the district.
These donations have been made in memory of a loved one and in recognition of a job well done by fire district personnel.
The donations that have been made to the memorial fund have been utilized to sponsor free public CPR classes that are offered every month. Also, some donations have been used to purchase much needed equipment that has improved the level of emergency medical services. This includes heavy rescue equipment and cardiac monitoring equipment.
You can support Fire District 7 by making a donation to the Medic 71 Memorial Fund. Please make the check payable to "Medic 71 Memorial Fund" and mail it to 8010 180th St. SE, Snohomish, WA 98296.
Every donation helps in the effort to keep our community as safe as possible. Small or large, every donation is appreciated and accepted!
The members and staff at Fire District 7 want to thank all of those who have contributed over the years to make this a much safer and better place to live and work. Our heartfelt thanks to you all!
