The Medic 71 Memorial Fund was started in 1982 soon after Snohomish County Fire District #7 started paramedic service to the citizens of the fire district. The memorial fund was established to receive donations from citizens who wished to contribute to the emergency medical services of the department.
These donations have been made in memory of a loved one and in recognition of a job well done by the fire district personnel.
The donations that have been made to the memorial fund have been utilized to sponsor free public CPR classes that are offered every month by the fire district. Also, some donations have been utilized to purchase much needed equipment that has been utilized to improve the level of emergency medical service to the public. This has included heavy rescue equipment and cardiac monitoring equipment.
The members and staff at Snohomish County Fire District #7 want to thank all of those who have contributed over the years to make this a much safer and better place to live and work. Our heartfelt thanks to you all.
You can support your local fire department by makeing a donation to the Medic 71 Memorial Fund.
